This part-time, fully remote role is suited to a technically strong professional who can identify failure risks, analyze asset performance, and develop practical solutions that improve availability, maintainability, and operational efficiency.The successful candidate will work with engineering, maintenance, operations, and management teams to reduce unplanned downtime and support reliable long-term performance.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement reliability strategies aligned with operational objectives.Analyze equipment performance, failure patterns, downtime, and maintenance data.Identify recurring failure modes and recommend corrective or preventive actions.Support reliability-centered maintenance and asset-management initiatives.Conduct root-cause analysis for significant equipment and operational failures.Develop reliability improvement plans, performance indicators, and action programs.Review maintenance strategies and identify opportunities to improve asset availability.Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, operations, and procurement teams.Monitor reliability KPIs and provide performance reports and management recommendations.Promote continuous improvement, risk reduction, and cost-effective asset performance.RequirementsBachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred.3+ years of relevant experience in reliability engineering, maintenance, asset management, or engineering operations is preferred.Strong understanding of equipment reliability, failure analysis, preventive maintenance, and asset performance.Knowledge of root-cause analysis, reliability improvement methods, and maintenance optimization.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.Ability to interpret maintenance records, operational data, and equipment performance indicators.Proficiency in preparing technical reports, reliability assessments, and improvement plans.Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.Good understanding of risk management, cost control, and operational efficiency.Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with remote technical teams.What We OfferFlexible part-time hours within a fully remote engineering environment.Competitive compensation aligned with experience and responsibilities.Opportunities to work on reliability, maintenance, and asset-performance initiatives.Professional development in engineering optimization and operational excellence.Collaboration with experienced engineering, maintenance, and business professionals.A performance-focused culture built around safety, innovation, reliability, and continuous improvement.
