Equity is hiring for Clinical Pharmacists for remote opportunities!Job Type: ContractWork Arrangement: 100% RemoteSchedule: Monday–Friday, rotating shifts between approximately 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM CSTContract Duration: Through June 2027, with some positions potentially tapering earlier based on business needsTarget start dates: November 30 or December 7, 2026About the OpportunityWe are seeking Clinical Pharmacists to join a Clinical Engagement Services team supporting members through a variety of clinical programs, including Medication Therapy Management (MTM), medication adherence, diabetes management, polypharmacy, retrospective drug utilization review, and other clinical initiatives.This is a fully remote, member-facing position focused on providing telephonic clinical consultations, comprehensive medication reviews, medication education, adherence support, and disease-state management.Approximately 90% of the role involves outbound member calls based on requests and referrals received through the clinical program intake process.New graduates are encouraged to apply, and candidates with approximately 1+ year of pharmacy experience are welcome.What You'll DoEngage members telephonically and schedule pharmacist consultation appointments for members participating in supported clinical programs.Conduct comprehensive and targeted Medication Therapy Reviews.Provide medication adherence consultations and support improved disease-state management.Review prescription claims data and identify opportunities for clinical intervention.Provide clinical recommendations related to:Gaps in careHigh-risk medicationsMedication compliance and adherenceDrug interactionsTherapeutic substitutionsGeneric substitutionsAssess medication regimens for unnecessary medications, ineffective medications, inappropriate doses, and potential adverse drug reactions.Educate members regarding their medications, medication regimens, and relevant disease states.Clinical Programs SupportedThe Clinical Engagement Services Center supports a variety of clinical services, including:Medication Therapy Management (MTM)Medication AdherenceDiabetesPolypharmacyRetrospective Drug Utilization ReviewFraud, Waste & AbuseSTARS adherenceDisease-state managementOther clinical engagement programsRequired QualificationsCurrent and unrestricted pharmacist license in the state where you reside.Strong knowledge of disease-state management guidelines and MTM principles.Understanding of the 5 Core Elements of MTM Services.Approximately 1+ year of pharmacy experience preferred; new graduate experiential candidates may be considered.Ability to work independently and effectively within a cross-functional team environment.Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills.Ability to navigate multiple databases, MTM platforms, and technology applications.Comfortable working with computers and multiple systems simultaneously.Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.Strong telephonic communication skills.Ability to communicate clearly with members, including senior populations, and healthcare professionals.Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.Ability to work in a metrics-driven environment and meet established productivity expectations.Equity Staffing Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers all qualified applicants in accordance with applicable employment laws.
