We believe in leveraging technology to make education accessible to students across the US and Canada.Role DescriptionWe are seeking an enthusiastic, patient, and creative Remote Elementary Teacher (Kindergarten to Grade 4) to teach Math and English to young learners across the US and Canada. This is a remote role centered on building strong foundational skills in early numeracy, reading, and writing through lively, interactive 1-on-1 and small-group virtual sessions.Responsibilities include planning child-centric, gamified lessons, fostering early reading comprehension and phonics, strengthening core mathematical reasoning, and maintaining high engagement. You will nurture confidence and curiosity while partnering with parents to track and support each child's learning journey.
Required Skills
✅ 2+ Years of Online Teaching Experience specifically with early childhood or primary elementary students (K–4).✅ High energy, exceptional patience, and warm, expressive English communication skills (Non-negotiable).✅ Proficiency with engaging virtual teaching tools (digital whiteboards, visual manipulatives, reward systems, and interactive slides).✅ Availability to match US/Canada time zones (Early Mornings India Time).QualificationsSolid foundation in US/Canadian elementary school curricula (Common Core standards for Math and English Language Arts).Math Expertise: Ability to teach number sense, place value, foundational operations, basic word problems, measurement, and geometry using visual models and concrete-representational-abstract (CRA) approaches.English Expertise: Expertise in systematic phonics, phonemic awareness, guided reading, vocabulary expansion, grammar basics, and early paragraph writing.Proven ability to sustain young learners' attention on screen through interactive activities, storytelling, quizzes, and positive reinforcement.Strong classroom management in a remote environment, with the skill to pace lessons according to individual developmental needs.Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate constructive feedback to young students and build collaborative relationships with parents.
