Healthcare and workplace safety are core priorities, making medical support roles essential to overall operations.Role Description The Remote Site Doctor is a full-time, on-site role based in Metro Manila, with responsibility for providing comprehensive medical care and occupational health services to employees assigned to mining operations. Day-to-day duties include conducting medical consultations, managing acute and chronic conditions, performing routine health assessments, and responding to workplace emergencies. The role involves monitoring occupational health risks, implementing preventive health programs, and ensuring compliance with relevant health, safety, and labor regulations. The Remote Site Doctor will coordinate with HR, safety officers, and management on fitness-to-work evaluations, health surveillance, and return-to-work plans. This position also includes maintaining accurate medical records, preparing reports, and contributing to health education initiatives that support employee well-being and safe work practices.Qualifications Licensed Medical Doctor in the Philippines, with good standing in the appropriate medical regulatory body.Experience in occupational health, emergency medicine, or primary care, ideally within industrial or remote-site settings.Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills, including emergency response and basic life support.Knowledge of occupational health standards, workplace safety regulations, and relevant Philippine labor and health laws.Ability to work independently in a remote or industrial environment, with sound judgment and decision-making skills.Effective written and verbal communication skills for documentation, reporting, and health education activities.Comfort collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including safety, HR, and operations personnel.Willingness to travel to and work within mining or remote operational sites as needed.Relevant certifications (e.g., BLS, ACLS, occupational health training) are highly preferred.Prior experience in mining, construction, or heavy industry is an advantage but not required.
