The assistant will support faculty-led research projects by gathering and organizing data, conducting literature reviews, and assisting with the preparation of reports, presentations, and publications. Day-to-day tasks may include coordinating research activities, maintaining accurate records, performing basic data analysis, and contributing to research documentation under supervision. The role may also involve collaborating with other student assistants, attending project meetings, and adhering to institutional research and ethical guidelines. This position is designed to provide hands-on research experience while supporting the University’s mission of teaching, research, and service.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Research and Analytical Skills for conducting literature reviews, organizing information, and supporting study design.Candidates should possess solid Data Analysis and Laboratory Skills (if applicable to the project) to assist with data collection, processing, and basic interpretation.Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication, to collaborate with faculty and peers and prepare research materials.Currently enrolled student in good academic standing at an accredited institution, preferably in a relevant field such as the sciences, social sciences, or humanities.Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to follow research protocols and ethical standards.Proficiency with common productivity software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, presentation tools); familiarity with statistical or research software is an asset.Demonstrated interest in academic research and a commitment to learning new methods and techniques.
