Our products Enable the Electronics Revolution and help deliver the future of healthcare.SUMMARYThe Trade Compliance and Logistics Manager is responsible for leading and managing the company’s U.S. import and export compliance program while supporting global logistics operations across a multi-country manufacturing footprint. This role serves as the U.S. trade compliance owner and partners closely with manufacturing and logistics teams internationally to ensure compliance with applicable trade regulations and consistent execution of cross-borderprocesses.West Coast candidates preferred!ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESTrade Compliance Program LeadershipDevelop, implement, and maintain the company’s U.S. trade compliance program, including policies, procedures, and internal controlsPartner with senior leadership and business partners to align trade compliance strategy with business objectivesEvaluate compliance maturity across global sites and implement improvement plansEnsure consistent application of trade compliance standards across all operationsEnsure strong utilization of SAP and trade compliance related master data accuracyU.S. Import Compliance:Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs regulations (CBP) for all importsOversee:US HTS classificationUS customs valuation (including transfer pricing / computed value considerations)Country of origin determinationTemporary Import Bonds (TIBs) program managementForeign Trade Zone (FTZ) administration and complianceManage and optimize duty exposure, including Section 301/232/122 and other impactsEnsure accurate and complete entry documentation through customs brokers (owner of brokers letter of instruction and other documentation)Lead responses to CBP and FDA import inquiries (CF‑28, CF‑29), audits, and reviewsU. S. Export ComplianceEnsure compliance with Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and applicable export controlsOversee:Export classifications (ECCN where applicable)Denied/restricted party screeningExport documentation and recordkeepingManage export licensing requirements where applicableProvide guidance on OFAC and other regulatory requirementsFree Trade Agreements & Duty OptimizationOwn USMCA qualification and certification processes, including supplier solicitations and documentationIdentify and implement duty savings opportunities (FTA, valuation strategies, drawback where applicable, etc.)Ensure audit-ready documentation and compliance with all FTA requirementsGlobal Logistics & Operations SupportPartner with global sites (Mexico, China, Vietnam, Hong Kong, etc.) to ensure compliant import/export executionSupport cross-border manufacturing flows, including maquiladora / IMMEX operationsCollaborate with freight forwarders, customs brokers and freight carriers to ensure service, compliance, and cost efficiencyStandardize logistics and documentation practices across regionsRisk Management, Audits & GovernanceConduct internal trade compliance audits and self-assessmentsInvestigate potential non-compliance issues and lead corrective actionsPrepare voluntary disclosures in coordination with leadership and external advisors when neededMaintain proper record retention in accordance with regulatory requirementsTraining & Cross-Functional SupportDevelop and deliver trade compliance training across functions.Act as a subject matter expert to support:New product introductions (NPI)New sourcing strategiesCross-border operational changesLeverage value chain and tariff engineering strategies to accelerate NPD/NPI effortsPromote a culture of compliance and continuous improvementContinuous ImprovementIdentify opportunities to improve processes, automation, and data accuracy (ERP / SAP)Drive standardization of trade-related master data (HTS, COO, valuation inputs)Improve coordination between finance, supply chain, and logistics for trade-related decisionsDrive cost savings and lane optimization initiatives across the transportation network to improve service levels and reduce overall logistics spend.*Other duties may be assigned*SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES May manage or develop trade compliance or logistics personnel as the function expandsLead cross-functional initiatives without direct authorityInfluence global teams to adopt standardized compliance practicesCarries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
