Role Description The Reporter role at DevOps Direct Job Links is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, the Reporter researches and gathers information on trends, opportunities, and developments in DevOps, SRE, and related technology fields. The Reporter writes clear, accurate news articles and reports, creates multimedia content where needed, and collaborates with editorial and marketing teams to ensure consistent coverage. Daily tasks include interviewing sources, verifying facts, monitoring industry news, and producing engaging content tailored to reliability, automation, and cloud-native technologies.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Reporting skills, including research, interviewing, and fact-checking.Candidates should possess excellent Writing and News Writing skills for clear, concise, and accurate coverage.Candidates should possess strong Communication skills for working with sources, colleagues, and stakeholders.Candidates should possess Multimedia skills, such as basic audio, video, or visual content creation and editing.Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field are beneficial.Knowledge of technology domains such as DevOps, SRE, cloud platforms, and automation is highly advantageous.Ability to work to deadlines, manage multiple assignments, and maintain high editorial standards.Strong command of written and spoken English; additional language skills are a plus.
