Reporter

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Reporter role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Reporter will research and gather news from multiple sources, conduct interviews, verify facts, and develop story ideas aligned with editorial priorities. The role includes writing clear, accurate, and engaging news reports, features, and analyses for various formats, as well as collaborating with editors and multimedia teams to produce timely content. The Reporter will attend press events and briefings, maintain strong relationships with sources, and monitor local and international developments relevant to Mitsui High-tec Mexicana’s operations and interests. The position requires meeting tight deadlines, adhering to ethical journalism standards, and maintaining high editorial quality.Qualifications Strong Reporting skills, including source development, interviewing, and fact-checkingExcellent Writing and News Writing abilities, with a focus on clarity, accuracy, and storytellingEffective Communication skills for engaging with sources, colleagues, and stakeholdersAbility to work with Multimedia formats, such as digital, social, photo, and video contentBachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field preferredPrevious experience in news, business, or industry reporting, ideally in an international environmentStrong understanding of journalistic ethics, editorial standards, and UAE media landscape is an advantageAbility to work under pressure, manage multiple assignments, and meet tight deadlinesProficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus
