Reporting & Consolidation Manager - Corporate Finance

Drive reporting excellence.Ali & Sons is looking for an experienced Reporting & Consolidation Manager to lead Group financial reporting, consolidation and closing across our diversified portfolio of businesses.This is a role for a finance professional who goes beyond producing numbers - someone who can connect the numbers, challenge the detail, strengthen governance and continuously improve how a diversified Group reports and understands its financial performance.What You'll DoLead the Group’s monthly, quarterly and year-end closing, reporting and consolidation cycles.Own Group consolidation, including intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, consolidation adjustments and consolidated financial statements.Ensure reporting is accurate, timely, consistent and IFRS-compliant across Group entities.Review business-unit submissions, challenge significant variances and ensure the quality and integrity of Group financial information.Act as a Group reference point for IFRS, accounting policies, technical accounting matters and complex Group transactions.Support accounting assessments relating to business restructuring, acquisitions, disposals and other significant transactions.Provide clear financial analysis, management reporting and commentary to support senior leadership decision-making.Partner with Finance teams, auditors and business leaders to resolve reporting, accounting and audit matters.Strengthen financial reporting governance, controls, data quality and reporting structures across the Group.Drive automation, systems enhancement and process improvement to reduce manual work and improve reporting efficiency.Lead, develop and build the capability of the Reporting & Consolidation team.Who We're Looking ForWe're looking for a technically strong finance professional with a Group-wide mindset - someone who is comfortable working across multiple businesses, challenging the status quo and influencing stakeholders beyond Finance.You should bring:8+ years of total experience in finance, accounting, audit or financial control, including at least 5 years of relevant experience in Group reporting, consolidation, financial controllership or external audit.Experience within a diversified, multi-entity or multinational Group is strongly preferred.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.Strong expertise in IFRS, financial consolidation, intercompany accounting, technical accounting, financial reporting and controls.Experience with ERP, consolidation and financial reporting platforms, together with strong Excel skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn financial information into meaningful business insight.Proven ability to lead teams, manage senior stakeholders and deliver through demanding reporting cycles.A continuous-improvement mindset, with the ability to simplify, automate and strengthen reporting processes.English fluency is essential; Arabic is an advantage.Why Ali & Sons?Join a UAE-based diversified Group with exposure to multiple businesses, brands and operating environments.
