Apply & track with Apply EdgeThe Reporting and Analytics Manager has the responsibility for leading Bryte’s enterprise reporting and analytics capability. You will ensure that Exco and Business Unit Heads have access to trusted, governed and actionable information to support operational, tactical and strategic decision-making. The incumbent will work closely with peers in the Pricing, Data Engineering and Data Governance teams to implement and maintain Bryte’s Enterprise Data and Analytics Platform while establishing standards for self-service analytics and generating business insights. This role reports into the Head of Analytics and Pricing.Key Tasks & AccountabilitiesOutwardManage stakeholder expectations and foster collaborative relationshipsAlign reporting capabilities with business strategyDrive enterprise adoption of data-driven decision-makingAnalyse and interpret business intelligence and communicate conclusions to business stakeholdersSupport and participate in portfolio management and performance assessment against KPIsIdentify and develop machine learning and AI use cases, build organisational support for proposed solutions and drive their successful implement within the business.InternalPlan, prioritise and manage your team’s work within SLA and capacityEnsure reporting accuracy and consistencyMaintain enterprise KPI definitions and metric governanceEstablish trusted data assets for reporting and analyticsSupport audit and regulatory requirementsMaintain modelling minimum standards and drive your team and processes towards best practiceRecruit new staff and ensure their systematic training and developmentManage performance and take corrective action when requiredProvide appropriate leadership to staff and reinforce company cultureTechnical ProficiencyAccomplished Python, SQL and PowerBI user, with proven ability to reconcile administration and claims transaction data to financialsAccomplished Microsoft Office user, effective Power Point presenterProficient with Python packages for data visualisation and machine learning e.g. Pandas, Seaborn, Plotly, Scikit-learn, XGBoost, PyTorch an advantageAccomplished analytics specialist with exposure to data catalogues, business glossaries, data quality frameworks and stewardship modelsOffice and project management experienceFamiliarity with non-life insurance pricing and portfolio management best practice an advantageQualifications & Work ExperiencePostgraduate qualification in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or similarOther relevant qualifications, courses and training an advantageIdeally 6 years analytics experience preferably in non-life insuranceExperience in leading analytics teamsExperience providing insights and recommendations to senior managementExperience in machine learning bet practiceExperience at prioritizing, resourcing and planningAbility to manage diverse work portfolio and teamDemonstrate ability to collaborate effectively across functions and influence outside of own functionSkillsTime Management & PrioritisingPlanning, delegating and tracking workOrganising and coordinationAble to manage expectations and changePersonal QualitiesMotivator, influencer and thought leaderAccomplished communicator, a great listenerEarnest collaborator, with best practice biasProlific solution and synergy coordinatorEfficient at delivery, while maintaining high qualityControl cycle proponent, an accomplished process improverDecisive and assertive caretakerClosing date: 19 October 2026
