Reporting Specialist - Power BI

Power BI Expertise (Development and Reporting) – Power Bi, SQL, Python-       6+Years of relevant Experience of data and Analytics in the expertise of Power BI, SQL and Python.-       Hands on experience in Cognos, Agile and Excel 365 -       Power BI Certified with demonstrated hands‑on experience in developing dashboards, data models, and end‑to‑end BI solutions.-       Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.-       Build optimized data models, perform data transformation using Power Query, and create advanced DAX calculations.-       Integrate and validate data from multiple sources (SQL, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, etc.) ensuring accuracy and reliability.-       Manage Power BI Service components including workspaces, dataset refresh schedules, security roles, RLS, and gateway administration.-       Optimize dashboards for performance, scalability, and best‑practice visualization standards.-       Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and convert them into effective BI solutions.-       Prepare documentation and provide ongoing user support for deployed BI products.-       Develop, enhance, and maintain backend components and REST APIs using Django/Flask/FastAPI.-       Troubleshoot application issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and deliver timely fixes and enhancements.-       Manage databases, write optimized queries, and ensure data integrity and high performance.-       Maintain deployment workflows using Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms.-       Monitor server health, analyze logs, and ensure application security, authentication, and authorization.-       Create and maintain unit tests and documentation, adhering to coding standards and best practices.-       Experience in Qliksense, Data Modelling will be added advantage.
