The role involves conducting theoretical and practical training, developing training materials and programs, and ensuring compliance with applicable aviation and operational standards.Key ResponsibilitiesWork under the management of the organization and report to the General Directorate of Operations.Conduct training as a Rescue Specialist Instructor on helicopter operations in accordance with approved training syllabi, including basic and advanced courses such as Initial Rescue Specialist, Instructor Training, Live Hoist, and other relevant rescue operations.Develop, review, and update training materials in accordance with operational and training requirements.Advise operational leadership on aircrew and rescue specialist training requirements.Develop and maintain training materials, publications, syllabi, examinations, and related instructional documents for helicopter rescue operations.Review and update training publications and materials as required.Maintain, update, and follow up on training records and files for rescue specialists assigned to helicopter operations.Qualifications, Skills & ExperienceQualified as a Rescue Specialist Instructor through an accredited aviation or rescue organization.Minimum of 1,000 total hoist-related flight hours, including at least 500 hours of hoist training experience as an instructor. Military aviation or rescue experience is preferred.Demonstrated experience in search and rescue hoist operations over land, water, and mountainous terrain.Qualified in Basic and Advanced Swimming through an accredited training organization.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.Must successfully pass the required aviation medical examination at an approved Aero Medical Centre.Must successfully complete the required theoretical examination, practical evaluation, and technical interview.
