Research Analyst

🔸 Key ResponsibilitiesCover and develop expertise in assigned sectors and companies.Identify and track investment opportunities across large-cap, mid-cap, and small-cap stocks.Conduct detailed fundamental research, financial analysis, and company valuations.Monitor macroeconomic, industry, and company-specific developments impacting investments.Present sector and stock views in investment and research meetings.Provide actionable stock recommendations and support fund managers in investment decisions.Generate new investment ideas, themes, and research-driven opportunities.Engage with company managements, regulators, industry participants, and analyst forums.Build and maintain relationships with sell-side analysts and assess the viability of their investment ideas.Maintain an objective recommendation tracking framework and contribute to portfolio performance.🔸 QualificationsMBA (Finance), CA or equivalent professional qualification.Strong academic background in finance, economics, or related fields.🔸 Experience8-10 years of overall relevant work experience (Large part & current experience in the IT sector is mandatory)Exposure to equity mutual funds or macro research.Experience preparing market commentary, client presentations, or fund analytics is preferred.🔹 Required SkillsStrong understanding of equity markets and macro-economic trends.Proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling, and analytical tools.Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts.Detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized with strong problem-solving capability.Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and functions.
