The Research Analyst will work closely with stakeholders across the business, and will span primary research, expert engagement, management assessment, and industry and regulatory analysis. The work will be broad and include:Researching a wide range of topics, including markets, sectors, companies, politics and geographiesActing as a thought partner to investment professionalsSourcing and engaging experts, advisors and other relevant industry participantsRunning several research projects at once, prioritising well and working to sometimes tight deadlinesCommunicating with stakeholders internally, including investment professionals and portfolio managersManaging relationships with external consultants, experts and research providersApplying AI tools in day-to-day research and identifying where AI can enhance workflowsTracking company, industry, regulatory, and market developments relevant to each assignmentRequired Skills & Experience:Applicants will ideally be degree-educated from a top university (or equivalent qualifications)Strong previous experience in business consulting research, financial journalism, or another financial services company with demonstrable skills, and a keen interest, in researchStrong qualitative and quantitative skills when handling dataCuriosity and adaptability to take on breadth of research tasksHands-on experience with AI tools, and ability to use these in a professional settingCuriosity and adaptability to take on breadth of research tasksRelationship management skillsResilience and creativityManaging workload effectively during periods of intensityA keen interest and demonstrable understanding of financial marketsAdvanced Microsoft ExcelAn additional European language is desirableAdditional Details:Core hours are 9am to 6pm, with some flexibility to work outside of core hours when neededSalary will be based on experience, plus a discretionary bonus and excellent company benefits.Hybrid working, with 1 day WFH per weekMayfair office locationIf you are skilled in research and want to join a close-knit team where you can add value from day one, please apply today!
