About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Research Analyst or Senior Research Analyst strong market research, analytical, and project management capabilities to support consulting engagements across diverse industries. The ideal candidate will have experience conducting primary and secondary research, analysing complex data, developing client-ready reports and presentations, and supporting business development initiatives. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment, and a proactive approach to stakeholder engagement, problem-solving, and continuous professional development. Candidates with experience in consulting, market research, investment, or professional services environments will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct primary and secondary research to support consulting engagements and client projects.Analyse market, industry, and company data to generate actionable insights and recommendations.Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, proposals, and client deliverables.Coordinate interviews, stakeholder meetings, and research activities as part of project execution.Manage project timelines, track deliverables, and support engagement administration to ensure on-time completion.Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and support.Assist with business development activities, including lead generation, outreach, proposal preparation, and pre-sales research.Attend industry events, conferences, and client meetings to identify market opportunities and expand professional networks.Support the development of thought leadership materials, marketing content, and company credentials.Utilize AI and digital tools to enhance research, analysis, and reporting efficiency.Ensure accuracy, quality, and proper documentation of all research findings and project materials.Contribute to internal process improvement initiatives and support overall consulting practice operations.Collaborate effectively with cross-functional and multicultural teams across regional offices.Continuously develop analytical, communication, project management, and consulting skills.Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by Directors, Consulting Managers, and Project Leaders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a reputable university.4-6 years of experience in market research, consulting, business analysis, strategy, professional services, or a related field.Experience conducting primary and secondary research, market assessments, industry analysis, and competitive intelligence.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional Asian languages is an advantage.Demonstrated ability to prepare client-ready reports, presentations, and business proposals.Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and related business applications.Experience supporting business development activities, stakeholder engagement, and client relationship management is preferred.Knowledge of financial analysis, economics, market entry strategy, or investment promotion is an advantage.Familiarity with AI-powered research and productivity tools is highly desirable.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multicultural and cross-functional teams.Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.About Us – Tractus Asia:For over 30 years, Tractus Asia has advised global clients on market entry, location strategy, and investment structuring across Asia.
