The role involves collecting information from financial reports, market databases, public filings, industry publications, and other reliable sources, while ensuring data accuracy and consistency.Responsibilities also include analyzing financial statements, company performance, market indicators, and key financial metrics, as well as preparing financial models, research summaries, charts, reports, and presentations. The role may support valuation analysis, competitor research, industry analysis, and monitoring of market developments.The position requires strong analytical and research capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to organize complex financial information into clear and useful insights. The role will also collaborate with finance, investment, and business teams to support ongoing research projects and reporting activities.QualificationsBachelor’s degree or diploma in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Financial Engineering, or a related field.Strong understanding of financial markets, accounting principles, financial statements, and fundamental financial analysis.Familiarity with company research, industry analysis, market research, and economic indicators.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial databases, research tools, or data analysis platforms.Ability to collect, organize, validate, and analyze quantitative and qualitative information.Understanding of financial modelling, valuation methods, and key financial ratios is an advantage.Strong research, analytical, numerical, and critical-thinking skills.Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies or relevant trends in financial data.Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present research findings clearly.Ability to prepare structured reports, presentations, charts, and research summaries.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple research tasks and priorities.High level of integrity and attention to accuracy when handling financial and market information.Proactive mindset with an interest in financial markets, investment research, business analysis, and continuous learning.
