Job Summary To lead R&D, formulation and technical/customer support for the Dry Mortar Operations (DMO) new innovative and value added products, while managing external toll manufacturing partnerships to ensure product quality and supply chain reliability.Key ResponsibilitiesFormulation & R&D:•Develop and fine-tune at least four (4) products per month from the HOLCIM Tector family.•Ensure all formulations meet Holcim Group and Holcim Innovation Center (HIC) specifications.•Formulate specific admixture requirements in coordination with the Ready-Mix technical department.Toll Manufacturing & Vendor Management:•Liaise with third-party service providers for toll manufacturing operations.•Monitor manufacturing processes at blending sites to ensure strict adherence to Holcim standards.•Coordinate production schedules with providers to ensure all operational deadlines are met.•Maintain rigorous quality documentations for all products produced via toll manufacturing.Technical Support & Communication:•Provide direct technical support for the DMO sector and address site-specific challenges.•Report all technical progress and R&D benchmarks to the Technical and Innovation Manager.•Ensure the Commercial Growth and Margin Manager is kept "in the loop" regarding product developments and margin optimization.Compliance & Documentation:•Prepare and review material submittals and provide technical responses to ensure project approvals. •Initiate third-party testing to validate physical properties of developed products.•Maintain an organised database of all formulas, Raw Material Data, Technical Data Sheets (TDS), Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and Certificate of Origin, COA. Etc.Supply Chain Coordination:•Collaborate with procurement to arrange raw materials and identify alternative suppliers to ensure formula "lock-in" and business continuity.Ensure adherence to compliance standards and internal controls.Promote a safe working environment for staff and participate in all H&SE initiatives & activities.Other Task as assigned Education: Recognised Graduate Qualification in Chemical Engineering or appropriate post graduate diploma courses in chemistry.Work Experience: Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience preferably in GGC, in the dry mortar and construction chemicals industry.Other Skills Required:Good communication skillsAbility to work autonomously while being highly organised.Deep experience in creating and "fine-tuning" chemical recipes for dry mortars and concrete admixtures.Thorough understanding of International Standards and Holcim global quality specifications.Good analytical reporting skills.Ability to run trials, mock up, case studies and troubleshoot real-world application issuesAble to work and support independently to meet the goal of launching new productsDeep experience in creating and "fine-tuning" chemical recipes for dry mortars and concrete admixtures.Ethical and high compliance to institutional policies
