Location: Fareham, Hampshire – on site.Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 plus package.Copello is looking for an R&D Engineer to join a specialist technology business developing innovative engineering solutions for challenging environments.This is a varied, hands-on position covering electronics, embedded software, prototype development and testing.

Recent graduates and early-career engineers are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Design, assemble and modify electronic circuits and PCBs.Develop and debug embedded software, primarily in C.Build prototypes, test systems and investigate technical faults.Use laboratory equipment to verify performance and reliability.Support system integration, commissioning and technical documentation.About You:Degree in Electronic, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.Practical experience in either electronic hardware design or embedded C development.Basic working knowledge of the other discipline.Confident using test equipment, reading schematics and troubleshooting issues.Strong problem-solving skills and a methodical approach.Desirable:STM32 or other Arm Cortex-M development.MTBF or FMEA analysis.
