College Circle AI is an AI-powered company building the Academic Intelligence Layer for colleges.Our belief is simple:Curiosity should never die in a classroom.We are working on technology that can understand students, their academic behaviour, and their learning patterns to create more personalised and intelligent learning experiences.We are looking for a Research Intern who wants to spend the next 8 months working on real research that can become part of the foundation of our product.The RoleAs a Research Intern, you will work with our research and technical teams on areas such as:Student Personalisation ModelsFoundation Prediction Models for New StudentsStudent learning behaviourAcademic behaviour and engagementStudent modellingData-driven learning systemsAI/ML approaches for personalised educationResearch experiments and model evaluationYou will not simply be given research topics to study.You will be expected to research, experiment, document, validate, and contribute to research that can influence what we build.What You Will Work OnA key focus will be understanding:How can we understand a student and personalise their learning experience?You may work on questions around:What signals help us understand a student's learning behaviour?How can we identify useful patterns from limited student data?How can we build an initial prediction model for a new student?How can personalisation improve as the student interacts with the platform?How can research findings be translated into actual product capabilities?You will work closely with a broader 5–7 person research team, alongside technical and product teams.Technical SkillsWe are looking for someone with an interest or foundation in:PythonMachine LearningArtificial IntelligenceStatisticsData AnalysisPredictive ModellingResearch MethodologyExperiment DesignModel EvaluationKnowledge of LLMs, recommendation systems, embeddings, RAG, student modelling, behavioural modelling, or personalised learning systems is an advantage.You do not need to know everything.
