This role is responsible for leading the end-to-end development of new haircare products and improving existing formulations, ensuring alignment with brand standards, safety regulations, and market trends. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and conducting research on ingredients and formulations, overseeing lab trials, analyzing performance and stability data, and documenting results. The Research and Development Specialist collaborates closely with cross-functional teams such as production, marketing, and quality assurance to support product launches and continuous improvement initiatives. The role also involves managing project timelines, supervising R&D team members, and implementing best practices to drive innovation in natural haircare solutions.Qualifications Strong Research and Development (R&D) and research skills, with experience in haircare or cosmetic product formulation.Proficiency in team management and team leadership to guide, mentor, and develop R&D staff.Solid project management abilities, including planning, prioritizing, and executing multiple R&D projects within set timelines.Knowledge of cosmetic chemistry, ingredient safety, and regulatory standards relevant to personal care products.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, Cosmetic Science, or a related field.Experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment, preferably in haircare or personal care industries.Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and external partners.Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to developing high-quality, natural products.
