Research and Development (R&D) Officer / Manager

Join Our Team at PYC Foods Corporation!We’re looking for an R&D Officer / Manager to support the development and improvement of food products, recipes, processes, and concepts. This role will work closely with suppliers, production, and operations teams to bring new ideas from concept to implementation while maintaining quality, consistency, and cost efficiency.

What You’ll Do

Develop and improve recipes, products, and food concepts based on market trends and customer preferences.Conduct kitchen trials, product testing, sensory evaluation, and recipe scaling.Research ingredients, packaging, equipment, and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation.Assist in recipe reformulation, ingredient substitution, food costing, and cost optimization.Prepare product specifications, process documentation, and other R&D-related reports.Coordinate with suppliers, production, QA, and operations for product implementation and improvement.Ensure developed products meet food safety, quality, and production standards.Support training and product implementation across relevant teams.What We’re Looking For:Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology or a related field.Experience in R&D, product development, recipe development, food manufacturing, or a related field.Knowledge of food costing, recipe formulation/reformulation, sensory evaluation, HACCP, and GMP.Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.Good communication and collaboration skills.Why Join Us?Competitive salary and benefitsProfessional growth opportunitiesDynamic and collaborative work environment
