Research & Development Specialist (R&D)Job Purpose:Execute research and development activities by identifying and analyzing opportunities, developing products, services, and operational processes, conducting studies and evaluations, and proposing innovative solutions that enhance organizational performance, strengthen the company's competitive advantage, and support the achievement of its strategic objectives.Responsibilities:Identify investment opportunities, projects, and tenders, and analyze project requirements to determine opportunities for development and continuous improvement in alignment with the company's goals and strategic objectives.Conduct research and studies related to project execution methodologies, construction techniques, materials, and emerging technologies.Evaluate new technologies and products, prepare preliminary feasibility studies, perform risk assessments, and provide recommendations to support decision-making.Analyze project performance, identify improvement opportunities, and develop project execution methodologies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and improve project outcomes.Analyze technical and operational issues, recommend appropriate solutions, and implement corrective actions.Collaborate and coordinate with technical, engineering, and operational departments to ensure alignment between R&D activities and project requirements.Review tender requirements, analyze the scope of work, and provide technical and financial recommendations.Prepare technical reports, analytical studies, and recommendations, and submit them to management.Prepare and analyze data for presentations and communicate study findings and recommendations to management.Monitor the latest industry practices and standards and contribute to performance and quality improvement through innovative initiatives and continuous improvement proposals.Research best practices, modern technologies, and innovative solutions, and evaluate their applicability to the company's projects.Monitor project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), analyze performance variances, and recommend corrective actions.Develop and improve work procedures and operational processes.Support the company's digital transformation initiatives.Document study results, measure their impact, and ensure compliance with quality, governance, and risk management requirements in all research and development activities.Qualifications:Relevant qualification.Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferred.Proficiency in Arabic (spoken and written).Proficiency in English (spoken and written).Strong ability to analyze data and prepare professional presentations.Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
