The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in organic chemistry and a keen interest in nucleic acid chemistry, with exposure to synthesis and purification techniques. Freshers with relevant academic background and candidates with up to 2 years of experience are encouraged to apply.Key Responsibilities:Perform synthesis of oligonucleotides using automated synthesizers.Carry out purification of oligonucleotides using techniques such as HPLC, ÄKTA (FPLC), and desalting methods.Monitor synthesis and purification processes to ensure high yield and quality of products.Prepare buffers, reagents, and solutions required for synthesis and downstream processing.Maintain accurate documentation, batch records, and lab notebooks as per internal and regulatory requirements.Handle, operate, and maintain laboratory equipment safely and efficiently.Assist in process optimization and troubleshooting of synthesis and purification steps.Ensure adherence to safety protocols and good laboratory practices (GLP).Coordinate with team members and report progress/status to senior staff.Educational Qualification:M.Sc. in Chemistry / Biochemistry / Biotechnology or related field.Experience:10 years of relevant experience in oligonucleotide synthesis or related domain.Required Skills & Knowledge:Strong understanding of organic chemistry concepts.Basic knowledge of oligonucleotide synthesis(desirable, not mandatory).Familiarity with purification techniques such as HPLC, ÄKTA/FPLC, and desalting.Basic understanding of siRNA and nucleic acid chemistry.Knowledge of laboratory documentation practices and data recording.Ability to handle laboratory instruments and equipment.Good analytical and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.Preferred Skills (Optional):Hands-on experience in oligonucleotide synthesis platforms.Exposure to RNA synthesis, modification chemistry, or conjugation techniques.Familiarity with analytical techniques like LC-MS or UV analysis.Key Competencies:Strong learning attitude and adaptabilityGood communication and teamwork skillsTime management and organizational skills
