Research & Development Specialist📍 Abu Dhabi, UAEWe are looking for a hands-on Research & Development Specialist to join a government entity in Abu Dhabi. This is an individual contributor role suited for professionals who enjoy conducting research, analyzing complex data, evaluating emerging technologies, and driving evidence-based recommendations.We are looking for candidates who are actively involved in research and data analysis rather than leading large teams.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct market and technology research to evaluate emerging trends and innovations.Perform data analysis and develop insights to support strategic decision-making.Assess new technologies using structured evaluation frameworks.Prepare research reports, technical documentation, and presentations for stakeholders.Monitor global technology and innovation trends and provide actionable recommendations.Support the planning and execution of research and innovation initiatives.Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including government entities, universities, research institutions, and technology partners.Contribute to knowledge management, lessons learned, and best practice documentation.Support workshops, training programs, and innovation-related events.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Research, Economics, Technology, or a related discipline.Minimum 4 years of experience in research, data analysis, R&D, strategy, innovation, consulting, or a similar analytical role.Strong hands-on experience working with data, conducting research, and generating analytical insights.Excellent report writing and presentation skills.Experience using research methodologies, data analysis techniques, and analytical tools.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
