Research and Lead Generation Executive (Data Entry Specialist)

RoleThis is primarily an online research and data-entry role, not a sales or customer account-management position. The role uses online sources to evaluate businesses, identify contact and ownership information, assess indicators of music use, confirm the business is not already represented in BMI’s systems, and document findings in Salesforce.Shift Hours: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PMCalendar: Sri Lanka CalendarWork Model: Hybrid (1 day in-office / 4 days WFH)Transport: Transport will be provided at departure time on office visiting days if the employee is allocated to the night shift (drop location must be within a 35 km radius from the office in Colombo 02)Qualifications● Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) or equivalent professional qualification in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Information Technology, or a related field.● 1-2 years of experience in research, lead generation, operations support, or a similar role.● Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.● Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.● Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce will be an added advantage.Required Skills & Competencies● Strong online research and information-gathering skills.● Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.● Ability to analyze and validate information from multiple sources.● Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.● Ability to follow established processes and consistently apply qualification criteria.● Good judgment when working with incomplete or ambiguous information.● Strong written communication and documentation skills.● Effective time management and organizational abilities
