Research Assistant/ Associate/ Fellow

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Research Assistant/Associate/Fellow role based in Singapore, National University of Singapore (NUS). The position involves designing and conducting research studies (focused on lifestyle behaviours such as diet, exercise, stress management, sleep), collecting and analyzing data, and supporting the development of research proposals and publications. Responsibilities include coordinating laboratory or fieldwork activities, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with ethical and safety regulations. The role also entails preparing reports, presentations, and manuscripts, and collaborating closely with faculty, students, and external partners. The successful candidate will contribute to ongoing projects while helping to shape future research directions within the assigned department or research group.QualificationsStrong Research Skills, with the ability to design experiments or studies and follow established protocols.Proficient Analytical Skills and Data Analysis capabilities, including familiarity with statistical methods and relevant software tools.Effective Communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., IT, Health science, engineering, social sciences, or related field); a PhD is mandatory for Fellow roles.Experience in academic or applied research settings, with a track record of contributing to publications or reports.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks, while maintaining attention to detail and high research integrity.Good organizational and time management skills, with familiarity in using digital tools for documentation and collaboration.Commitment to ethical research practices and adherence to institutional and regulatory guidelines.
