We work across research, technology, and knowledge organization to support careful, evidence-based thinking.Role DescriptionThe Research Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore. You will support structured research across a range of topics, working with papers, reports, articles, datasets, and other primary and secondary sources. Your work will help turn large bodies of information into clear, accurate, and well-supported findings.Responsibilities• Conduct desk research and structured literature reviews across varied topics.• Gather, evaluate, and organize information from credible primary and secondary sources.• Compare claims across sources and identify areas of agreement, contradiction, uncertainty, and missing evidence.• Synthesize findings from multiple sources into concise research briefs, reports, and presentations.• Maintain clear source records and ensure that important claims are supported by verifiable citations.• Structure complex information using outlines, tables, diagrams, or knowledge maps where useful.• Prioritize follow-up questions and decide which sources deserve deeper investigation.• Communicate research methods, limitations, and conclusions clearly to colleagues.Qualifications• Current student, recent graduate, or early-career professional with experience conducting research through coursework, internships, consulting, or independent projects.• Strong reading comprehension, analytical reasoning, and written communication skills in English.• Ability to evaluate source quality and distinguish evidence from interpretation or unsupported claims.• Comfort working through unfamiliar subjects and organizing large amounts of information.• Careful attention to detail, particularly in citations, quotations, and factual claims.• Ability to work independently while explaining decisions and incorporating feedback.• A degree in any research-intensive field is helpful but not required; demonstrated research ability matters more than a specific discipline.• Applicants from academic research, consulting, market research, policy, journalism, business analysis, and related backgrounds are welcome.
