The Research Assistant will support faculty-led research projects by conducting literature reviews, collecting and organizing data, and assisting with laboratory experiments and fieldwork where applicable. Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, preparing reports and presentations, and ensuring that research protocols and safety standards are followed. The role also involves collaborating with academic staff and students, helping with research documentation, and contributing to the dissemination of findings through publications or conferences. The position offers opportunities for learning advanced research methods and gaining experience in engineering and technology-related studies.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and Data Analysis abilities to interpret research findings and support evidence-based conclusions.Candidates should possess solid Research skills, including literature review, documentation, and adherence to research methodologies.Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for collaborating with faculty and students and preparing clear reports and presentations.Candidates should possess Laboratory Skills relevant to engineering and technology research, including safe handling of equipment and materials.Relevant academic background in engineering, technology, or a related scientific discipline (Bachelor’s degree or ongoing enrollment preferred).Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks under supervision.Comfort working in an on-site academic and research environment in Kolli Hills.Prior research or project experience in an academic or laboratory setting is an advantage.
