Research Assistant

Role Description This full-time remote Research Assistant role at İstanbul Esenyurt Üniversitesi involves supporting faculty and research teams in the planning, execution, and documentation of academic and applied research projects. Day-to-day tasks include conducting literature reviews, gathering and organizing data from various sources, assisting with the design and implementation of research methodologies, and preparing reports, presentations, and manuscripts for publication. The Research Assistant will collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure accurate data collection, timely progress on project milestones, and adherence to ethical and institutional research standards. The role also includes maintaining detailed project records, contributing to grant applications or project proposals, and participating in virtual meetings and discussions to share findings and insights.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and Data Analysis abilities to interpret research findings and draw evidence-based conclusions.Candidates should possess solid Research skills to conduct literature reviews, design studies, and manage data collection processes.Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with research teams and prepare clear written and verbal reports.Candidates should possess relevant Laboratory Skills, where applicable, to assist with experimental procedures and maintain accurate records of lab activities.Candidates should possess proficiency with basic statistical tools and software (e.g., Excel, SPSS, R, or similar) and strong attention to detail.Candidates should possess the ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple tasks, and meet project deadlines.Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree (or ongoing enrollment in a relevant graduate program) in a field related to the research area; prior research experience or publications are an advantage.Candidates should possess familiarity with academic writing and citation styles (e.g., APA, MLA, Chicago) and a commitment to ethical research practices.
