We’re Hiring: Research Assistant – Commercial Real EstateThe McEnery Company is seeking a motivated Research Assistant to join our commercial real estate appraisal and consulting team in New Orleans, Louisiana.This is an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate or early-career professional interested in commercial real estate, valuation, market research, finance, or investment analysis. The Research Assistant will work directly with our appraisal professionals and gain hands-on exposure to a wide variety of commercial real estate assignments throughout Louisiana and the Gulf South.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct research and analysis in support of commercial real estate appraisal assignmentsResearch comparable property sales, leases, listings, and market dataAssist with maintaining and expanding the company’s comparable property databasePerform property-specific research and fact findingResearch market trends, economic conditions, zoning, property records, and other relevant informationOrganize and analyze data for use by staff appraisersAssist appraisal professionals with day-to-day research needs and special projectsQualificationsBachelor’s degree preferredStrong research and analytical skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple assignments and deadlinesProficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and WordAbility and willingness to learn new software, databases, and research toolsStrong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learnPrior commercial real estate or appraisal experience is not required.
