Research Assistant

Role DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Research Assistant to support research activities through systematic information gathering, data analysis, documentation, and reporting. The role involves assisting with research projects from planning and data collection through analysis and presentation of findings, while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to established research methodologies.Key responsibilities include conducting literature and information reviews, collecting and organising qualitative and quantitative data, maintaining research records, preparing research materials, and supporting surveys, interviews, experiments, or other research activities as required. The Research Assistant will work closely with researchers and project stakeholders to support research objectives, identify relevant information, and contribute to clear and evidence-based outputs.The role also involves analysing and interpreting research data, preparing summaries, charts, tables, and reports, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting the preparation of presentations or research publications. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong curiosity, critical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to manage information systematically and objectively.QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field such as Social Sciences, Business, Psychology, Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related discipline.Strong understanding of basic research methods, data collection, analysis, and documentation.Ability to conduct literature reviews and gather information from reliable sources.Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate and organised research records.Ability to work with qualitative and quantitative data and identify meaningful patterns or insights.Familiarity with research, statistical, survey, or data-analysis tools is an advantage.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and objectively.Ability to follow research protocols, maintain confidentiality, and handle information responsibly.Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple research tasks.Curious, methodical, proactive, and willing to learn new research techniques and tools.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with researchers and project stakeholders.
