Apply & track with Apply EdgeRole DescriptionAs a Research Assistant, you will support research projects through literature review, data collection, analysis, documentation, and preparation of research materials. You will work closely with researchers, project teams, and other stakeholders to ensure research activities are conducted accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with established methodologies and requirements.Key responsibilities include:Conduct literature reviews, background research, and information gathering using academic databases, publications, and reliable sources.Support the design and implementation of research activities, surveys, interviews, experiments, or data collection processes.Collect, organize, clean, and maintain quantitative and qualitative research data.Perform basic statistical, analytical, or computational tasks using appropriate research tools and methodologies.Assist with data interpretation and identify relevant findings, patterns, trends, and relationships.Prepare research summaries, reports, presentations, charts, tables, and other project materials.Maintain accurate research records, datasets, references, documentation, and project files.Support researchers in preparing manuscripts, proposals, presentations, publications, and other research outputs.Follow established research protocols, ethical requirements, data protection practices, and quality standards.Coordinate research-related meetings, schedules, materials, and communication with project stakeholders.Conduct fact-checking and verify the accuracy, relevance, and reliability of research information.Contribute to research discussions and provide analytical or administrative support throughout the project lifecycle.QualificationsBachelor’s degree or above in a relevant academic or technical discipline related to the research field.Strong research, information-gathering, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.Familiarity with research methodologies, literature review techniques, data collection, and data analysis.Ability to organize and interpret quantitative and/or qualitative information accurately.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Familiarity with statistical, analytical, academic research, or data management tools is a plus.Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in research and documentation.Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and logically.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with researchers and multidisciplinary teams.Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple research tasks and priorities.Commitment to research integrity, confidentiality, accuracy, and ethical standards.Proficiency in written and spoken English.
