Team members have the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects that shape industry development and support ethical, Sharia-compliant financial practices.Role Description</strong> The Research Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Kazan. The position involves supporting research projects related to Islamic finance development, including literature reviews, data collection, and preparation of reports and presentations. Daily tasks include assisting in the design of research methodologies, compiling and organizing datasets, and conducting basic data analysis. The Research Assistant may also support empirical studies where applicable, maintain research documentation, and contribute to drafting academic and industry-focused publications. Collaboration with senior researchers, participation in meetings, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders are key components of the role.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and Data Analysis abilities to interpret research findings and support evidence-based conclusions.Candidates should possess solid Research capabilities, including literature review, methodology support, and structured data collection.Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to prepare clear reports, presentations, and collaborate with team members and partners.Candidates should possess relevant Laboratory Skills or empirical research skills, where applicable, to support experimental or field-based studies.Relevant academic background in Finance, Economics, Islamic Studies, Business, or a related field; familiarity with Islamic finance principles is highly beneficial.Proficiency with common research tools and software (e.g., Excel, statistical packages, reference management tools) and strong attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, manage multiple tasks, and meet project deadlines.Strong written and spoken proficiency in English; knowledge of Russian or Arabic is an advantage.
