RESEARCH ASSISTANT – CLINICAL RESEARCHLooking to build your career in clinical research?A growing clinical research site is looking for a Research Assistant to join its Chicago team and gain hands-on experience across patient visits, study procedures, documentation and clinical trial operations.This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to develop their skills and progress within clinical research and site operations.What You’ll Be DoingSupport clinical trial visits and protocol-specific proceduresAssist with patient recruitment, screening and schedulingSupport informed consent activities in line with GCP and IRB requirementsCollect and document patient assessments, observations and test resultsMaintain accurate source documentation and CRFsSupport participant visits and study proceduresPerform phlebotomy, ECGs and other technical procedures as required by protocolProcess and handle clinical samples and study materialsSupport study drug, lab supply and clinical trial material accountabilityReport adverse events and other study-related issues appropriatelyCommunicate with CRCs, Team Leads, Investigators, sponsors and other site staffMaintain patient confidentiality and regulatory complianceParticipate in training and ongoing professional developmentWhat We’re Looking ForAssociate degree in Science or relevant clinical research experience1–3+ years of clinical or biological research experience preferredHands-on phlebotomy and ECG experienceUnderstanding of GCP, clinical research and study protocolsStrong documentation and computer skillsExcellent communication and organisationProfessional, reliable and detail-oriented approachComfortable working directly with patients and clinical teamsAble to work independently while supporting a wider research teamWhy This Role?Get genuine hands-on exposure to clinical research while developing your skills across patient care, study procedures, documentation and clinical trial operations.
