Apply & track with Apply EdgeRole DescriptionThe Research Assistant / Project Assistant is responsible for supporting research activities, project coordination, data collection, documentation, and administrative tasks to ensure projects are conducted accurately and efficiently. The role involves assisting with research planning, organizing project information, conducting literature or market research, collecting and analyzing data, and preparing materials for project reporting and presentations.Key responsibilities include gathering and organizing relevant information from reliable sources, assisting with surveys, interviews, questionnaires, fieldwork, or other research activities, and maintaining accurate records and databases. The position will also support project scheduling, meeting coordination, progress tracking, document preparation, and communication with internal teams, external partners, participants, and other stakeholders.The role requires the ability to follow research methodologies and project procedures carefully while maintaining data accuracy, confidentiality, and quality. The Research Assistant / Project Assistant will assist in identifying issues, compiling findings, preparing summaries and reports, and supporting project deliverables in accordance with established objectives and timelines.The position is suitable for someone who is organized, analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of handling both research and administrative responsibilities. Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and time-management skills are essential for supporting multiple project requirements effectively.QualificationsDiploma or Bachelor’s degree in Research, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Data Analytics, Project Management, or a related discipline.Strong research, information-gathering, analytical, and documentation skills.Ability to collect, organize, verify, and summarize information accurately.Good understanding of basic research methods, data collection, reporting, and project coordination.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Familiarity with research databases, survey tools, data management systems, or project management software is an advantage.Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate and well-organized records.Good organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear reports and project documentation.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with researchers, project teams, and stakeholders.High level of integrity and confidentiality when handling research data and project information.Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and coordination abilities.Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
