As a Research Associate, you will be responsible for conducting high-quality bench research and performing in vitro assays that will significantly contribute to drug discovery efforts.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Your duties as the Research Associate will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:1. As the Research Associate, you will efficiently execute lab work designed to advance early-stage projects, ensuring the timeliness and quality of your scientific workload.2. As the Research Associate, you will accurately interpret experimental data, perform statistical analysis, formulate conclusions, and communicate findings with colleagues.3. As the Research Associate, you will maintain accurate and up-to-date records of experimental data and present findings at regular internal meetings.4. As the Research Associate, you will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including the Discovery Team, Frontier Biology, and the Discover Chemistry UK team, to ensure program goals are met.ROLE REQUIREMENTS:To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Research Associate, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:1. Relevant degree in a scientific field such as biological sciences or a similar discipline.2. Proven industry experience in oncology drug discovery research, including DNA, RNA, and protein-related methodologies.3.
