Trutino’s proprietary On-Demand (OD) platform technology enables the design of therapeutic candidates that can be systemically delivered in an inactive form and be locally activated directly at the tumor site, thereby avoiding the toxicity of conventional immune therapies, and potentially improving efficacy either as a single agent or in combination with other treatment modalities.We are seeking a highly motivated Research Associate for a 100% lab-based role, who can be part of a team driving innovative, new approaches in drug discovery. The successful applicant will contribute to the discovery, development and validation of therapeutic candidates based on Trutino’s OD Platform technology.Hands-on experience with adherent mammalian cell culture and knowledge of reporter cell assays, immunoassays (e.g. ELISA, LUMINEX), Western blot, and data analysis in GraphPad Prism are needed for this position, as well as the desire to learn different assay techniques. Familiarity with protein purification methods (affinity and size exclusion) and biomolecular interaction techniques (e.g. SPR, BLI) are a plus. High level of quality and productivity is required.Responsibilities· Plan experiments and effectively multitask.· Identify problems, determine the appropriate actions and implement solutions with support of a supervisor.· Review scientific principles, perform literature searches and keep abreast of current literature.· Thoroughly analyzes results and methods, presents data at team meetings.· Effectively communicates and collaborates with other groups and team members.· Prepares appropriate protocols and documents.Minimum Requirements· Degree in Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, or related discipline is required. B.S or M.S. with 2-5 years of experience. · Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.· Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail.· Ability to analyze data, troubleshoot and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.· Keep accurate records and comply with company policies.Preferred Experience and Skills· Industry experience.· Good documentation practices preferred.Trutino Biosciences is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
