They will be required to:a) assist in design, development, and testing of systems, prototypes, or technical solutions for the assigned project(s);b) carry out simulations, experiments, prototype or software development, and data analysis as required;c) keep research records and prepare reports, presentations, and research papers;d) support laboratory work, project meetings, and research demonstrations;e) work with other team members and project partners; andf) perform any other duties as assigned by the Project Leaders and Centre Directors. QualificationsApplicants should have:a) for appointment as Research Assistant, a recognised bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automation, Applied Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related discipline;b) for appointment as Research Associate, a recognised master's degree in one of the above disciplines or a related discipline;c) basic research, analytical, programming, experimental, or laboratory skills relevant to the assigned project(s);d) a strong interest in exploring topics related to the assigned research project(s); relevant research or project experience would be an advantage; e) good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills; andf) a good command of written and spoken English; proficiency in Chinese, including Putonghua, would be an advantage.
