Goliath is partnered with an innovative AI startup building the data layer and reinforcement learning environments for medical AI systems.The problem with most healthcare AI companies isn't that these models have never seen medical text, its that this data doesn't resemble real world medicine. To solve this they take real world data (notes, labs, imaging, ECGs, medications, vitals, diagnoses, outcomes etc.) and turns it into applicable environments where models can actually practice impactful workflows.They are currently in need of an ambitious founding Research EngineerAbility to construct healthcare specific RL environments, including tasks, reward functions, and eval harnessesConduct post-training experiments on language models and agents using various reinforcement learning techniquesShape how AI learns to diagnose and treat patientsEssential Skills1+ years of experience with reinforcement learning, pre or post training, or related ML systemsHands on experience with reward modeling, evaluations or agent environmentsDesign controlled experiments and come to trustworthy conclusions from messy dataCompensationBase up to 350k and 1M in equityWould this interest you?
