As the range of opportunities we pursue keeps widening, we need dedicated research behind every deal — someone who can map the landscape, pressure-test what's in front of us, and turn scattered market information into a clear recommendation. This is a broad Web3 research seat, not a listings research seat.What You'll OwnTracking market trends and identifying high-value partnership opportunities across asset listings, TradFi and Web3 productsMonitoring competitor partnerships and recommending where Gate should follow, differentiate, or take a stronger approachConducting business, management, investor and reputational research on prospective partnersResearching comparable deals and analysing commercial structures — pricing, fees, revenue sharing, incentives and other key termsPreparing concise opportunity briefs, due diligence reports, competitor updates and deal comparisons for the partnerships team and managementSupporting partnership strategy, negotiation preparation and pipeline prioritisationBuilding and maintaining internal databases covering partner profiles, competitor activity, commercial terms and lessons from previous dealsWho We're Looking For3-5+ years in research, strategy, consulting, investment banking, corporate development, venture capital, fintech, financial services, digital assets or a related fieldFluent English communication, with strong commercial writing abilityStrong research, analytical and commercial judgment — able to turn complex information into concise recommendationsHands-on experience with company, market, competitor or transaction analysisAble to manage multiple workstreams and deliver quickly in a fast-moving environmentNice to have: familiarity with crypto exchanges, asset listings, brokers, pre-IPO transactions, stablecoins, tokenisation, DeFi, wallets or blockchain infrastructureNice to have: experience analysing partnership economics or deal structuresWhy This Role Is Worth Your TimeYou'll sit at the centre of how a top-3 global exchange decides which partnerships to chase — with visibility across listings, TradFi and Web3.
