Apply & track with Apply EdgeResearch Manager – Quantitative ResearchLocation: Colombo, Sri LankaEmployment Type: Full-timeAbout the RoleWe are looking for a Research Manager – Quantitative Research to join a team and lead high-quality quantitative research projects for a diverse portfolio of local and international clients.This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced research professional who is passionate about understanding consumers, brands, markets and business challenges and turning data into meaningful insights that support better business decisions.The successful candidate will take ownership of research projects from understanding the business objective and designing the research approach through to fieldwork, analysis, insight generation, reporting and client presentation.Key ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end quantitative research projects, ensuring delivery to agreed timelines, quality standards and budgets.Understand client business objectives and translate them into appropriate research objectives, methodologies and analytical approaches.Develop research proposals, study designs, questionnaires, sampling plans and analysis frameworks.Manage and coordinate fieldwork, data collection, data processing, coding and quality control activities.Analyse and interpret quantitative data to identify meaningful consumer, market and brand insights.Apply appropriate statistical and analytical techniques to answer business questions and uncover trends, relationships and opportunities.Develop clear and compelling reports, presentations and visualizations that communicate key findings and recommendations.Translate research findings into actionable business recommendations, going beyond reporting numbers and identifying the “so what” behind the data.Present findings and recommendations confidently to clients and senior stakeholders.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted research and insights partner.Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Work collaboratively with research, operations, data processing, analytics and other specialist teams to ensure seamless project delivery.Review research outputs for accuracy, consistency and quality before client delivery.Support proposal development, costing, pitch presentations and identification of opportunities for additional research.Coach and mentor junior researchers, contributing to the development of research capability within the team.Stay informed about evolving research methodologies, analytical techniques, technology and consumer trends.What We're Looking ForBachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Social Sciences, Psychology or a related discipline.5+ years of relevant experience in quantitative market research, consumer insights, research consulting or a similar environment.Strong hands-on knowledge of quantitative research methodologies, including questionnaire design, sampling, fieldwork and data analysis.Demonstrated experience managing research projects from inception to completion.Strong understanding of statistical concepts and quantitative data interpretation.Experience with SPSS and/or other statistical or analytical tools;
