Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting independent and collaborative research, performing literature reviews, designing experiments or studies, collecting and analyzing data, and contributing to research publications, presentations, and reports. The role involves working closely with faculty mentors, participating in research group meetings, supporting grant proposals, and maintaining accurate research documentation and ethics compliance. Research Scholars may also assist in mentoring students, contributing to academic activities, and presenting findings at seminars, conferences, or workshops.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong research skills, including literature review, data collection, data analysis, and academic writing.Candidates should possess skills in project planning, time management, and documentation to manage research timelines and deliverables.Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with faculty, peers, and research teams.Candidates should possess basic technical and digital skills, including familiarity with research tools, software relevant to their discipline, and online collaboration platforms.Postgraduate degree (or final-year enrollment) in a relevant discipline such as Engineering, Science, Technology, or related fields; doctoral aspirants are encouraged.Demonstrated interest in research through projects, publications, internships, or prior research assistant roles.Ability to work in a hybrid setting in Coimbatore, with self-motivation and discipline for independent work.Knowledge of research ethics, academic integrity, and institutional review processes is beneficial.
