Research Scientist — Grant Writing and Project Coordination

Open Longevity is an independent research organization focused on aging, regeneration, and life extension. Our work includes the Open Genes database, peer-reviewed publications, research roadmaps, books, and collaborative research projects.We are looking for a biologist who can turn scientific ideas and preliminary results into strong grant applications.Most of your work will involve developing proposals together with experimental and computational research groups: shaping the central hypothesis, writing the scientific narrative, defining aims and milestones, and coordinating the preparation of preliminary data.You will also help keep bioinformatics and experimental work aligned with the needs of upcoming applications. As the projects develop, you will have opportunities to participate in research papers and scientific reviews arising from this work.We are looking for someone who hasA PhD in biology, neuroscience, regenerative medicine, aging research, or a related field.Substantial experience contributing to at least one successfully funded grant application.Excellent scientific writing skills in English.Experience working with experimental or computational research groups.The ability to move a project from an initial discussion to a clear, submission-ready proposal.Experience with US or European grant applications is a strong advantage. We are particularly interested in scientists who want to take greater ownership of research programs and grow toward scientific leadership.This is a fully remote position intended as a stable, long-term collaboration.
