Research Scientist Team Leader – Chemist - organic synthesis & formulation

Your RoleWe are looking for a passionate and talented Research Scientist Chemist to lead our Chemistry & Formulation team in the R&D department. As a Team leader, you will drive innovative projects focused on lipid, polymer and nanoparticles synthesis as well as their formulation. Key Responsibilities· Lead R&D projects and conduct innovative research in lipid and polymer design and synthesis.· Design and perform multi-step synthesis, purification and characterization of lipids and polymers,· Develop, optimize and evaluate lipids- & polymer-based nanoparticles efficiency & stability,· Assess efficiency, potency, and performance of new research products and technologies,· Provide scientific mentoring and technical training to team members,· Ensure efficient scientific reporting and presentations of the project,· Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including R&D biologists, formulation and bioproduction experts, marketing, business development, and quality assurance (ISO9001 environment),· Responsible for establishing and managing collaborations· Draft grants, manuscripts, and patent applications and involve in patent management Your Profile· PhD in Chemistry, with at least 3 years of experience. Postdoctoral and/or research experience in this field is required.· Mandatory: strong expertise in lipid and polymer synthesis with proficiency in associated analytical methods.· Proven experience in organic chemistry and formulation with a strong record track of publications. · Knowledge of nucleic acid technologies, transfection, magnetic nanoparticles and formulation would be a strong advantage.· Organized, rigorous, dynamic, autonomous, and highly motivated with a creative scientific mindset.· Excellent problem-solving skills and fluent in English with outstanding communication abilities.
