The institution is guided by a Council that oversees its academic direction and ensures alignment with its core objectives.Role Description The Research Study Assistant is a full-time, on-site position located in Bakin Kasuwa at The Federal Polytechnic Bauchi. The role involves supporting faculty and research teams in planning and executing research projects, including literature reviews, data collection, and documentation of study procedures. The assistant will help prepare and maintain laboratory or field materials, organize research records, and ensure adherence to institutional research protocols and ethical standards. Daily activities include assisting with data entry and basic data analysis, preparing reports and presentations, and coordinating communication among project stakeholders. The role also requires participation in meetings, timely completion of assigned tasks, and active collaboration to advance ongoing research initiatives.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Research and Laboratory Skills relevant to applied science and technology studies.Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and Data Analysis abilities for handling quantitative and qualitative study data.Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for reporting findings, preparing documentation, and collaborating with research teams.Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to follow research protocols accurately.Candidates should ideally hold a diploma or degree in a relevant field such as science, technology, statistics, social science, or a related discipline.Familiarity with basic computer applications and spreadsheet or statistical software is beneficial.Prior experience in academic or field research environments is an advantage but not mandatory.
