Company DescriptionGlobal Research Work is a specialized research support organization that connects clients with experienced PhD-level experts across disciplines.Role Description The Research Writer (Law) is a full-time remote role responsible for producing high-quality legal research and written analyses for a variety of academic and professional projects. Day-to-day tasks include conducting comprehensive legal research using statutes, case law, regulations, and secondary sources; drafting research papers, memos, and reports that are clearly structured and well-cited; and synthesizing complex legal concepts into accessible language. QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Research and Analytical Skills to investigate legal issues, evaluate sources, and develop well-supported arguments.Candidates should possess solid Research Writing and Writing abilities to produce clear, structured, and accurate legal documents.Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with clients and team members, and to present findings in a concise manner.Advanced knowledge of legal research tools (e.g., online databases and law libraries) and familiarity with common legal citation styles (such as Bluebook or equivalent) are beneficial.A law degree (JD, LLB, or equivalent) or significant experience in legal research and writing is preferred, along with the ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and maintain high standards of integrity and confidentiality.
