Job Title: Senior Research Analyst – Thermal Pads (Automotive)About the Role: We are seeking a highly innovative Senior Research Analyst to lead the development of next-generation thermal pads for our automotive component manufacturing division. As electric vehicles (EVs) and advanced automotive electronics demand superior heat management, you will drive the advancement of our proprietary thermal interface materials (TIM). You will bridge the gap between fundamental material science and practical automotive applications.Key Responsibilities:Lead the research, formulation, and characterization of high-performance polymer-based thermal pads.Design and execute experiments to optimize thermal conductivity, compressibility, and long-term durability under harsh automotive operating conditions.Collaborate closely with engineering teams to seamlessly integrate thermal solutions into EV battery modules, power inverters, and sensor housings.Analyze market trends, competitor products, and emerging nanomaterials to guide strategic product innovation.Transition successful lab-scale material formulations into robust, high-volume manufacturing processes.Qualifications:Ph.D. required in Materials Science, Polymer Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related scientific discipline.Deep foundational expertise in thermal interface materials and complex heat dissipation mechanisms.Extensive hands-on experience with thermal analysis testing (LFA, TGA, DSC).Strong understanding of automotive reliability standards, compliance, and quality control requirements.
