Location: Ho Chi Minh City, VietnamEmployment type: On-sitePOSITION SUMMARYThe Researcher will contribute directly to ongoing and prospective research projects at Binh Duong University.Unlike a Research Assistant role, this position requires the candidate to take greater responsibility for developing research ideas, reviewing academic literature, designing research methods, analysing data, interpreting findings, and contributing substantially to academic manuscripts.The Researcher may work independently or as part of research teams involving Vietnamese and international academic collaborators.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESResponsibilities may include:Conduct systematic and structured academic literature searches using Scopus, Web of Science, and other relevant academic databases.Identify research problems, theoretical gaps, and potential research questions.Contribute to research design, conceptual framework development, and hypothesis development.Design and support questionnaires, surveys, interviews, and other data collection activities.Collect, clean, organise, and analyse primary and secondary research data.Conduct quantitative and/or qualitative data analysis using appropriate research methods and software.Interpret research findings and contribute to theoretical and practical implications.Draft, revise, and prepare academic manuscripts for submission to Scopus- and Web of Science-indexed journals.Respond to reviewer comments and support manuscript revision and resubmission.Prepare conference papers, research reports, presentations, and other academic outputs.Coordinate research activities and collaborate with local and international researchers.Participate in seminars, workshops, conferences, and research-related activities organised by Binh Duong University.KEY SELECTION CRITERIACandidates must meet the following minimum requirements:Hold at least a Master's degree from a recognised university.Academic background in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Finance, Marketing, International Business, Public Policy, Sociology, Psychology, Education, International Relations, or other relevant Social Science disciplines.Have at least one published article in a Scopus-indexed journal.Have an IELTS overall score of at least 6.5, or an equivalent recognised English qualification.Demonstrate a sound understanding of research methodology.Ability to conduct academic literature reviews and work with international academic databases.Good academic writing and English communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within research teams.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSThe following are advantageous:Publications in Scopus Q1/Q2 or Web of Science-indexed journals.Experience with quantitative research methods, qualitative research methods, or mixed-method research.Experience with research software such as SPSS, SmartPLS, AMOS, Stata, R, NVivo, VOSviewer, or similar tools.Experience preparing manuscripts for international academic journals.Experience responding to peer-review comments and revising manuscripts.Experience participating in funded research projects or international research collaborations.Strong knowledge of academic referencing, research ethics, and publication standards.WHAT YOU CAN GAINThe position provides opportunities to:Participate directly in domestic and international research projects.Develop and publish academic manuscripts with research teams.Gain experience in the full international journal publication process.Develop a stronger academic research profile for future doctoral study or academic career development.HOW TO APPLYApplicants should submit:Curriculum Vitae (CV).Brief cover letter outlining research interests and relevant experience.Master's degree certificate and academic transcript.IELTS certificate or equivalent English-language qualification.Evidence of at least one publication in a Scopus-indexed journal.Full publication list, if available.Application method: h.khang@bdu.edu.vnBinh Duong UniversityDepartment of Science and International RelationsHo Chi Minh City, Vietnam
