This position is responsible for handling reservation requests across YatraTourism.in’s services, including individual, corporate, and educational travel, ensuring accurate booking details and timely confirmations. The role involves daily interaction with customers to understand travel needs, provide itinerary options, explain pricing and policies, and modify or cancel bookings as required. The Reservations Specialist will collaborate with internal teams to coordinate availability, maintain up-to-date records in the central reservations system, and support sales initiatives by recommending suitable products. The role also includes managing customer inquiries, resolving issues related to reservations, and maintaining a high standard of professionalism and service quality.Qualifications Strong reservations and booking management skills, with experience using reservation or travel management systems.Excellent communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication in English and relevant local languages.Proven customer service abilities, with a focus on empathy, problem-solving, and maintaining customer satisfaction.Basic sales skills, including the ability to recommend suitable travel products and support upselling and cross-selling efforts.Experience in training or willingness to learn and assist in training new team members on reservation processes and systems.Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work on-site in Coimbatore, collaborate in a team setting, and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.Previous experience in the travel, tourism, or hospitality industry is preferred; a relevant diploma or degree in travel, tourism, or business is an advantage.
