In this role, the Reserve Police Officer supports military law enforcement activities, including maintaining order, enforcing regulations, and promoting security within Army establishments and operations. Day-to-day tasks may include patrolling designated areas, assisting with criminal investigations, gathering and preserving evidence, and preparing incident reports. The role also involves cooperating with other military units and civilian police services, contributing to the safety and welfare of personnel and property. Reserve Police Officers participate in ongoing training and exercises to maintain high standards of professionalism, operational readiness, and ethical conduct.Qualifications Experience or strong interest in law enforcement, including Law Enforcement and Police-related responsibilities.Knowledge of police procedures and standards, with familiarity in working alongside Police Officers.Understanding of criminal investigations, including Criminal Investigations and handling of Evidence.Ability to remain calm under pressure, make sound decisions, and act with integrity and fairness.Good physical fitness and willingness to meet British Army medical, fitness, and security clearance requirements.Strong communication, observation, and report-writing skills, with attention to detail.Capacity to work effectively in a disciplined team environment and follow lawful orders and regulations.Willingness to undertake and successfully complete British Army training relevant to the Reserve Police Officer role.
